15ος Faethon Skyrace

The 15th Faethon Skyrace "Apostolos Tsoirekas" will take place on July 12, 2026, in Kokkino Pilo of Olympus. It is a demanding mountain running race offering two routes: the Faethon SkyRace 23 km with +1800m elevation gain in alpine terrain and the Faethon Trail 14 km with +400m, crossing historic paths and lush forests. The event also includes the children's race Faethonaki Run 1 km, giving children the opportunity to experience mountain running. The start is from the central square of the village Kokkino Pilo, and the organization embodies the vision and love for Olympus and mountain running.

The race has a finish time limit of 6 hours (until 14:00). There is an intermediate refreshment station at Diaselo Kardaara at 14 km and 2340m altitude with a crossing limit of 3.5 hours. Participation is allowed for individuals over 18 years old with mountain race experience of at least 15 km in the last 2 years. No medical certificate is required, but a responsible declaration must be signed. The event also includes the children's race Faethonaki Run 1 km, held on Saturday, July 11.
