4ο Argithea Mountain Race

The 4th Argithea Mountain Race is a demanding mountain race held in the Petritou area, Karditsa, on June 7, 2026. It includes various routes such as the Argithea Skyrace 30 km with 2000 meters of elevation gain, the Vlachogiannis race 15 km with 700 meters ascent, as well as a family race 5 km and a children's race 1 km. There is also the Lakos Vertical route 3.6 km with 700 meters of ascent offering a unique experience on trails within a fir forest with views of the peaks of the Agrams. The race attracts runners who love the mountain and challenge, while also offering activities for the whole family.

The Lakos Vertical route starts from the settlement of Vasilades and continues uphill through old cobblestone paths and trails with drinking water. The finish line is located at Tsoutes at an altitude of 1750 meters with views of the Aforismeni, Karagounis, and Delidim peaks. There are also races for families and children, as well as hiking and mountain biking activities. It includes mountain running races, vertical race, family and children's routes, and activities on natural trails and landscapes of the Thessalian Agrams.
