Η Μάχη στο Λεβίδι 14-04-1821 «Αναγνώστης Δημήτριος Στριφτόμπολας»

The Municipality of Tripoli in collaboration with the SEGAS Peloponnese Region, the Athletic Club of Arcadia, and the Physical Education Association 'Orochemos' organize the road race and power walking event titled 'The Battle at Levidi 14-04-1821 (Dimitrios Striftompolas)'. The races are dedicated to the first victorious battle against the Turkish conquerors that took place in Levidi 205 years ago. The event includes routes of 10km, 5km, and 1000m and is held at the central square of Levidi. The organization honors the historic victory and offers a celebration of sport and memory for all participants and spectators.

Race schedule: 16:00 opening of the secretariat and distribution of race packs, 18:00 start of 10km, 18:10 start of 5km, 19:20 start of 1000m, 19:45 end of finishes, 19:50 awards, 20:15 end of the event with celebration and recognition of the historic battle. Routes in a historic area, participation across various age categories, start and finish in Levidi, with souvenirs and cultural activities.
