Ε’ Δρόμος Γερακιού

The E' Gerakios Road is a special ultra-distance running race of 47.5 kilometers connecting the historic Byzantine castles of Mystras and Gerakio in Laconia. The race takes place on a paved route with significant elevation gain of up to 650 meters, offering a unique experience that combines sport, culture, and natural beauty. It is organized by the Greek Association of Long-Distance Runners "The Immortals" in collaboration with local authorities and has a strong local and athletic character. The start is from the Castle of Mystras and the finish line is at the central square of Gerakio, with a completion time limit of 7 hours.

The day's program includes opening of the registration desk at 12:00 with a pasta party, closing of the registration desk at 14:30, technical briefing at 14:35, and transfer to the start at 14:45. The race has a completion time limit of 7 hours, ending at 22:00. There are exclusion points for safety and smooth conduct of the race. The race includes 8 refreshment stations, technical briefing, and a program with a pasta party. The route is paved and the finish time is 7 hours.
