Race description
The 8th Castle of Didymoteicho Run «Kostas Gatsioudis» is an annual running event held in Didymoteicho. It includes routes of 10 km, 5 km, 1 km, a race for people with disabilities, and a 4 x 2.5 km relay. The race started in 2016 initiated by military personnel with the support of the Municipality of Didymoteicho and the Division. It is an important athletic and cultural event for the area, honoring the memory of Kostas Gatsioudis.
