Race description
The 6th Night Race of Thrace in Alexandroupoli is an annual sporting event offering routes of 10,000m, 5,000m, and 1,500m for runners of all ages. The race starts and finishes on the city's seaside boulevard, on a circular route of 2,500m, with brisk walking and running. The event combines sports with culture, hosting the registration center in an art gallery of post-Byzantine visual arts. There is electronic timing, extensive medical coverage, and awards for winners in various age categories. The race attracts over 1,200 participants and is supported by the Municipality of Alexandroupoli and other organizations.

Additional information
Participation packages can be collected on Friday and Saturday before the race at the old Town Hall of Alexandroupoli. There are refreshment stations with water and bananas during the race and at the finish line. All participants receive a sports bag. There is an option to purchase dry-fit t-shirts, windbreakers, and thermal wear. The race has a total participation limit of 1,200. Medical coverage includes medical examinations and collaboration with EKAB, the Hellenic Red Cross, and the Greek Rescue Team. The race takes place on May 15, 2027, with participants from all over Greece and the Balkans. The event promotes unity, sports, and culture, offering a unique night running experience.
