14ος Βατικιώτικος Αγώνας

The 14th Vatikiotikos Race in Neapoli Lakonias is a unique running experience that combines sports with the local community and the natural beauty of the area. The event includes 10-kilometer and 1-mile (1,600 meters) races for children and families, offering a celebration of participation and effort. The certified route ensures safety and validity, while parallel activities such as athlete talks and the Pasta Party promote camaraderie and sportsmanship. The organization is supported by the educational community, the Peloponnese Region, and the Municipality of Monemvasia, creating a two-day athletic event full of energy and smiles.

The start of all routes is in front of the Merchant Navy Academy of Laconia. Packet pickup is at the registration desk at the race start on Saturday 02/05/2026 (10:00-12:00) and Sunday 03/05/2026 (07:00-09:15 for 10 km, 07:00-10:00 for 1 mile). Participants must clearly display their race number. The last registration date is Sunday, May 3, 2026, 30 minutes before each race begins. Medical coverage and volunteer support are available along the route. The 10 km race is open to adults and children over 12 years old, while the 1-mile race is for children over 6 years old or younger with accompaniment. The event, scheduled for May 2-3, 2026, includes talks, awards, a pasta party, and volunteer activities.
