The 'In the Footsteps of Zorbas' race is organized in KOLINDRO PIERIAS and includes routes of 13 and 4 kilometers, as well as a children's race of 500 meters. The event highlights the historical and cultural heritage of the area, offering participants a unique experience within a beautiful natural environment with panoramic views of the Thermaic Gulf and the Pieria Mountains. The race is open to athletes aged 12 and above, with special conditions for minors. The event is organized by the Municipality of Pydna-Kolindros and SMF SPORTS, which handles the organization and support of the event.

Participation rights for the 13KM race are for athletes aged 15 and above, while the 4KM race is for those aged 12 and above with a guardian. The organization also includes a 500-meter children's race. SMF SPORTS provides organization services, electronic timing, and sportswear sales. Technical routes, online registrations, medical support, commemorative medals and participation gifts, cultural events, and local traditions are also part of the event.
