Race description
The 3rd Koziakas Trail is a mountain race held in the beautiful Elati Trikalon, with routes of 25.75 km, 8 km, and 1 km for young athletes. The course starts and ends in Elati, crossing fir forests and alpine landscapes of Koziakas, dedicated to the rescue of the Egyptian vulture, an endangered bird species in Greece. The area is a popular mountain tourist destination with many natural and cultural attractions. From this year, the event is included in the ITRA lists, giving the race international recognition.
