2ο Ελάτεια Historic Trail

The 2nd Historic Trail of Elateia is a mountain running race offering three different routes of varying length and difficulty, within a beautiful natural and historical environment. The course starts from the central square of Elateia and crosses trails, forest roads, and archaeological sites, providing unique views of the Maliakos Gulf and the surrounding mountains. The race is suitable even for runners with limited experience in mountain running, with full marking and aid stations. The organization is renowned for its impeccable setup, volunteer support, and local community participation.

The start is from the central square of Elateia. There are three routes: 21.2 km, 12.6 km, and 6.2 km. Electronic timing is provided by CHRONOLOG. There are three aid stations. A medal is awarded to all finishers. Payments are only accepted by card. Refunds are available up to 10 days before the race with a small fee. There is a cutoff time of 2.30 hours for the middle route. There are also 1 km routes for children, aimed at raising awareness and involving the whole family. The routes are specially marked and organized with respect for the environment and the local community.
