17ος Ημιμαραθώνιος Καλαμπάκα – Τρίκαλα

The 17th Kalambaka-Trikala Half Marathon "Thanasis Stamopoulos" is one of the fastest half marathons in Greece and Europe, featuring a slightly downhill course starting from the historic Kalambaka and ending in the heart of Trikala. The event honors the memory of Thanasis Stamopoulos, a founding member of the Trikala Runners Club, and attracts thousands of runners from all over Greece and abroad. Alongside the classic half marathon, there are 5K, 5K PARA, and 1K children's races, making it a celebration for all ages and levels. The route offers beautiful scenery, historical and modern elements, while the atmosphere is filled with enthusiasm and support from spectators.

The start is from the Central Square of Kalambaka and the finish at the Central Square of Trikala. There is 1 hydration point every 5 kilometers in the half marathon and every 2.5 kilometers in the 5K race. A technical commemorative T-Shirt is provided to all participants and a medal to those who complete the course. There are parallel races for PARA athletes and a 1K children's race. The organization emphasizes safety and smooth conduct according to the regulations of EOSLMA-Y. It includes parallel events and volunteer opportunities, with registrations through the official website.
